School Systems Audit
A comprehensive review of the systems shaping student experience, staff capacity, and family trust.
Schools don’t struggle because people aren’t working hard. They struggle when systems no longer match the needs of students, staff, or families. The School Systems Audit is a structured, evidence-informed review designed to help schools understand how their systems are functioning in practice—not just on paper—and where targeted changes can create meaningful, sustainable improvement.
What’s included:
On-Site Observation: A purposeful observation of school environments to understand daily routines and transitions, classroom and campus-wide expectations, adult-student interactions, and how policies and practices show up in real time.
Staff Interviews: Confidential interviews with selected staff members to explore role clarity and expectations, communication flow and decision-making, points of friction or overload, and alignment between policy and practice.
Review of Policies and Practices: A review of existing documents and procedures, such as behavior and discipline policies, academic and instructional frameworks, family communication protocols, and support and referral processes.
Communication Review: Analysis of school-facing communication, including emails and newsletters, conference structures and messaging, family-facing language and tone, and consistency across platforms and staff.
Family Trust and Experience Survey: The design and analysis of a family survey to assess perceived clarity and transparency, trust and communication effectiveness, areas of strength, areas of confusion or concern.
Written Systems Report: The school will receive a comprehensive written report that includes key system strengths, identified gaps or misalignments, patterns impacting student experience, staff capacity, and family trust, and clear, prioritized recommendations.
Leadership Debrief: A facilitated meeting with school leadership to review findings, clarify priorities, discuss implementation considerations, answer questions, and plan next steps.
This package is great for school leaders seeking clarity without blame, campuses experiencing increased behavior, communication, or trust challenges, schools navigating growth, transition, or systemic strain, and leadership teams committed to reflective, proactive improvement.
*Custom proposals available upon request
*This is not an evaluation of individual performance, compliance audit, disciplinary review, or a one-size-fits-all framework.
